I'm putting this sticker on every mirror in every bathroom in every school that every one of my little sisters goes to.  This idea is so important to constantly remember - not just when we look at some crazily photoshopped model in an advertisement or see a middle aged celebrity on a magazine cover and there's nary a wrinkle in sight...

look what I got yesterday!

In a day that included a new haircut (so cute!  I'll show soon) and a late lunch at the highly anticipated new neighborhood restaurant (hopdaddy - super yummy hemp veggie burger), the best part of my day was the email from the library saying my book request had come in...

YEAH! (Already finished.)

I just finished #2 as well, but luckily there are a few more waiting.

I rarely read the book after the movie (tv show) but it's been fun to see Micheal C. Hall and the others in my head.  The first two books have followed the first two seasons semi-faithfully (well, I guess it would be the other way around) but it's different enough to still be interesting.  I really hope Trinity shows up in book four and that they find a way to make the Jimmy Smits character better - I didn't love season three. (Of course, that is when Quinn shows up and I love him...)

Love it.

don't you love 3:30 in the morning?

Finals week is almost over (including all of the papers and programs) and I pulled (am pulling at this very moment) a few all-nighters.

a slice of epoch pizza from eastside pies with a grapefruit izzie.  perfect late night dinner.

a soy mexican chocolate mocha and actual studying.

no epoch all-nighter would be complete without some bathroom graffiti pics.

Oprah's in my government book!

get it, phylicia...

Dude.  Mrs. Huxtable was hot.

Am I crazy?

And... Am I about to ruin my $1000 laptop?

These are the questions I'm asking myself.

The reason?  I'm seriously considering replacing the RAM on my macbook myself.  I googled "why is my macbook running slowly?" and "how do I make my macbook faster?" and it said the same thing Hannah's friend Micheal did: I need to upgrade my RAM.  The Apple store will charge me a million dollars (or $400ish - same thing) to do what the entire internet tells me I can do with a #0 Phillips head screwdriver, $60 worth of RAM I bought online, and a nickel.  (I dunno!  All the tutorials list some sort of coin in their materials list...)

I'm thisclose to doing it.

Quadrupling my RAM (i.e. keeping more tabs open as I browse, running more programs, waiting less time for things to load) will only cost me 60 some odd bucks and a little worry.  Do-able, right?

My I-can-totally-do-this-build-this-make-this-sew-this attitude hasn't ever extended to computers before, but I think this is going to work out.

I think.

These are the videos I watch instead of studying for the final I have in 10 hours/writing the paper I have due in 24 hours/studying for the 2 more finals I have in 2 days/planning the final Journeys in Music program of the semester in 2 days.
